Cardiovascular diseases continue to be the leading cause of death in Spain. These constitute a set of disorders of the heart and blood vessels [1].

One of the most common is hypertension, a disorder in which blood vessels are under high tension and can be affected. Blood pressure is the force that blood exerts against the vessel walls as it is pumped by the heart. The higher the pressure, the harder the heart must work. More than 1 in 5 people worldwide have high blood pressure, a disorder that causes about half of all deaths from stroke or heart disease [1]. Tobacco, unbalanced diet and a sedentary life increase the risk of cardiovascular diseases

Therefore, exercising for at least 30 minutes every day, eating at least five servings of fruits and vegetables a day, and limiting salt intake also helps prevent.
